I'm excited to share this year's holiday mantle with you. It's more modern and playful than last year's mantle, and more festive than 2011's, when I made my felted garland.
I mostly used what was already on the mantle - I added my garland, a large bottle brush tree, some pine cones, several Christmas balls and a few boughs from our tree. The gold stripes on the candles are just glitter ribbon affixed with scotch tape. Easy peasy.
I added a few more boughs to the white ceramic log vase I picked up at Superstore last year. I love this time of year!
