We almost always make our own oven-baked fries (it's so easy! they're delicious!), but we had a problem with them sticking to the pan. Adam's mom passed along a little trick of soaking the sliced potatoes in ice water before baking to remove excess starch and prevent sticking. Chop, chill, dry, toss with a little olive oil and salt, then bake. Anyone else use this trick?

We're big fans of sweet potato fries around here, and we usually make curried mayo for dipping (this recipe is one of the best I've found, but I use half greek yogurt/half mayo for a healthier version). I'd also like to give this recipe for cucumber raita a try (the spicy oven-baked fries sound pretty good too). What's your go-to dipping sauce?

P.S. You know what goes well with oven-baked fries? Kale caesar salad! I'm obsessed with this recipe.
